Your Privacy Rights Under the AVG: A Guide for Clients

What the AVG (GDPR) means for clients of an escort agency: your rights, how to use them and how long data is kept.

Clients of an escort agency share personal information, and that information is sensitive. In the Netherlands, the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG, or GDPR in English) gives you clear rights over your data. This guide explains them in plain language, and how to use them with us. It is general information and not legal advice.

What the AVG is

The AVG is the European privacy law that applies in the Netherlands. It sets rules for any organisation that collects personal data. It requires them to have a legitimate reason, to collect only what is needed, to keep it secure and to delete it when it is no longer needed. The Dutch supervisor is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

What data we collect

For a booking we ask for a name you are comfortable with, a way to reach you, the date, time and place and practical wishes. If you ask for an invoice, we also need invoice details. We do not need your home address, your employer or copies of your documents for a normal evening. Read more in our article on discretion and privacy.

Your rights

  • Access. You can ask what data we hold about you and how we use it.
  • Correction. You can ask us to correct data that is wrong.
  • Deletion. You can ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it by law, such as for tax records.
  • Restriction. You can ask us to limit how we use your data while a question is resolved.
  • Portability. You can ask for your data in a usable format.
  • Objection. You can object to certain uses, including direct marketing.

How long we keep data

We keep data only as long as we need it for the booking, for administration and for legal duties such as invoices. After that we delete it. Data that is no longer needed is not kept in case it is useful later.

Who sees your data

Only the people who arrange your booking see your details, and they share with the companion only what is needed for safety and logistics. We do not sell or publish client data. If we use a provider such as an email or website host, we use one that meets the AVG.

How to make a request

Send a message through our contact page and say that you want to use your privacy rights. Tell us which right and, if you can, the date of your booking, so that we can find it. We may need to check that the request really comes from you. Under the AVG, we should answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied

If you think we have not handled your data properly, tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Your website visit

This website uses only necessary cookies by default, and others only with your consent. You can read what we use on the cookie page, and you can change your choice at any time.

Protecting yourself

  • Use a private device and a private connection.
  • Use an email address you are comfortable with.
  • Ask any agency how it handles your data before you share it.
  • Be wary of any site that asks for more than it needs.

Our promise

Respect for privacy is part of how we work. Read our privacy policy for the details, and our guide to choosing an agency for what to check before you share any information. If you have a question, we reply personally and in confidence.
